Capacity Building 2008

First Quarter

ASNAPP-Senegal have been training growers, communities and researcher and other ‘trainers of hibiscus. Women groups were trained in Good Harvesting Practices in Leona, Bona and Karthiack Rural Communities, in Louga, Kolda and Ziguinchor regions. Extension agents were trained to train the growers (Ex Fissel Rural Community).

Second Quarter

ASNAPP/SEN worked with 6,000 well-trained farmers to reinforce a package of best production and post-production practices. During this quarter consultations were held around Fairtrade standards, building local capacity in governance, environmental, and documentary procedures.
