Dynamic Intertrade has shown a keen interest in buying African spices from ASNAPP-assisted community farmers. As a commitment, the company has established agreements with paprika producers in Zambia under the leadership of ASNAPP-Zambia and will visit Limpopo in South Africa to identify farmers for the cultivation of selected spices.

Dynamic Intertrade is mandating ASNAPP to assist with the production of several herbs in Limpopo. The large-scale production (though to be implemented by many small-scale growers) of the following dried herbs are needed and will be investigated (Oregano, Thyme; Basil; Spearmint;Dill tips; Marjoram;Bay leaves; Sage; Parsley; others.

The ASNAPP newsletter for the January–March quarter featured a $400,000 contract that has been reached between ASNAPP Zambia and a South African buyer to purchase bird’s eye chilis from ASNAPP assisted farmers. This story was featured on the website to highlight the potential that could accrue to farmers should both parties remain satisfied with each other on in the long term.
